Getting started
Do I need to install anything?
To record, yes: the free Kistorium recorder for Windows, from the Microsoft Store. Everything else works in your browser.
Does it work on a Mac?
You can watch, edit and share on any device. Recording needs a Windows PC, or you can write a guide by typing the steps.
Recording
How long can a recording be?
Up to three minutes. It stops by itself at the limit.
Do I have to talk?
No. No sound is recorded. The voice-over is made from the steps.
What if I get it wrong?
Record it again. Retakes are free. You only use your balance when you press Process with AI.
Your guides
How long does it take?
Most guides are ready in about ten minutes.
Can I change what it wrote?
Yes. Rewrite, add or delete steps, and replace any screenshot.
What if something private is on screen?
Blur it before you build the guide. After that, you can still blur any screenshot.
Privacy and security
Do you train AI on my recordings?
No. Google's AI reads them for us, under terms that forbid training on them.
Where is my data kept?
In the United States with Google Cloud, and with Cloudflare, which runs worldwide. AI processing may run in other Google regions. Security has the details.
How do I delete my data?
An Admin can delete any recording or guide, and download your guides from Settings. Anyone can delete their own account in Settings.
How do I report a security problem?
Email support@kistorium.com.
Money
Is it a subscription?
No. You buy a pack once and keep it. See Pricing.
